  1. oh how wonderful, ok first question, where do you purchase your beautiful yarn from online? gosh those colours are just amazing. Battleship, woo hoo, it's been battleship fun at our place lately too, we love battleship! I love the colours in the birthday jumper, they look like they will be ready for puddle jumping very soon. What a great photo that would be. Hoping all is well with you and the rough weather has passed and left you and yours safe and secure. xx

    1. hi joyce, thank you for the kind well wishes. i will answer you here.. the yarn i used in this post i bought directly from the dyer, jo from celtic memory in scotland. her website is celticmemoryyarns.blogspot.com
i buy lots {and lots} of yarn very cheaply and in bulk from ebay. there are two 'stores' in england offering free shipping with $100purchase , making it very worthwhile , as their prices are usually %40 off retail. also, buying from someone's ravelery stash i've been known to do... they only problem with online shopping is the dye lots are sometimes very different!! in jackson's stripy jumper above, i bought two skeins of the same yarn, same colourway, very different looking blues when they arrived. i decided to put the darker blue in between the stripes and use the lighter blue everywhere else :)

    1. anushka, the book is just for you. its nicely written actually - how to cook healthy proper meals when you dont have much time. 15 or 10 minute segments, meals to chop and layer and stick in the fridge until time to cook it for dinner. on ebay it seems very affordable too, around 10bucks .
